Reporting content
Who can use it, and what are the posting rules?
Only verified students can browse, post, reply, and upvote, and you only see your own school's board. You can post questions, reply one level deep, and upvote helpful content (upvotes only — no downvotes; you can't upvote your own). Be respectful and don't share personal information — Dormly warns you before posting if it spots things like phone numbers, emails, or addresses, and you can edit before publishing. Reports, blocking, rate limits, and a profanity filter all apply. Anonymous doesn't mean consequence-free: abuse can lead to removed content and account action. Peer advice here is not professional, legal, or medical advice, and Dormly is not an emergency service — if someone may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or campus safety.
How do I report a listing, profile, or message?
Tap "Report" on any listing, profile, or post and choose a category: Fake profile, Scam / Fraud, Harassment / Bullying, Spam, Inappropriate content, Impersonation, Safety concern, or Other. You can add details too. Reports are confidential and our moderation team reviews them within 24 hours.
