What are Housing Alerts?
A Housing Alert is a saved search that watches for you. Save the criteria you care about, and Dormly notifies you when a new (or newly verified) listing matches — so you're first to reach out. Manage them under Housing Alerts in the menu.
How do I create a Housing Alert?
Set filters on the Rent or Buy page and tap "🔔 Alert me," turn a saved preset into an alert from Profile → Filters, or open Housing Alerts and tap "New alert." When creating one, you'll see how broad it is (Very Broad → Very Specific) so you know how often it might trigger.
When will I get notified about a listing?
When a new listing is published that matches an active alert — or when a listing you'd match becomes verified. You'll never get duplicate alerts for the same listing, even if it matches several of your alerts.
Can I get alerts for listings like one I like?
Yes. On a favorited listing, tap "Alert me about similar listings" — Dormly pre-fills an alert from that listing's price, beds, type, and distance. Tweak it and save.
