Data privacy
Can I download my data?
Yes. Go to Settings → Account → Export your data. You can download your shared expense and payment history as CSV, your roommate agreement as a printable PDF or plain text, and your move-in/move-out condition reports via Print → Save as PDF. Files are generated on your device.
How do I delete my account, and what happens to my data?
Go to Profile → Delete Account, type DELETE to confirm, and your account is permanently removed — this can't be undone. Removed: your profile and sign-in, your listings and move reports, marketplace items, favorites, saved alerts, your household membership and your share of shared expenses, your roommate-group membership, and your private photos and files. A few things are kept but anonymized so other people's history stays intact: messages you sent still appear in others' chats as "Deleted account," shared household expense records remain so your roommates' balances stay correct, and any moderation reports are kept without your identity. If you currently own a household or lead a roommate group that still has other members, you'll be asked to transfer ownership or leave it first, so you don't strand your roommates.
Is my affordability information private?
Completely. Your income, budget, and other affordability details are visible only to you — never to listers, other students, or Dormly staff, and never public. You can save them so every listing shows an instant read, edit them anytime, and delete them with one tap from any listing's Can I Afford This?
