Where can I learn how Dormly keeps me safe?
Go to Settings → Trust & Safety. It's a short, friendly section that explains verification levels (verified students and listings), how reports work, how anonymity works, how to spot and avoid scams, and Dormly's moderation policies — in plain language with examples, not walls of legal text.
How do I stay safe in a Marketplace transaction?
Meet in a public campus spot, inspect the item before paying, and avoid deposits or paying sight-unseen. Never share passwords or verification codes. Importantly, Dormly does not process payments or guarantee any transaction — there's no escrow and Dormly never holds funds, so the exchange happens directly between you and the other student. Trust your instincts and report anything that feels off.
