Where do I manage my settings and preferences?
Open the user menu (top-right avatar) and tap Settings. From there you can manage Appearance (dark mode, celebrations, reminders), Language, Accessibility (high contrast, larger text, reduced motion, and a dyslexia-friendly font), Notifications (turn off categories or snooze them until tomorrow, the weekend, or a week), Privacy (hide your profile from roommate search), Safety, Support, and your Account.
Can I change my profile's colors or theme?
Yes. Go to Settings → Appearance → Profile theme and pick an accent style — Classic, Modern, or Vibrant. Every option is built from your school's official colors (Dormly never uses arbitrary colors), so your theme always stays tied to your school, and each works in both light and dark mode.
What are the seasonal decorations, and can I turn them off?
Dormly adds very subtle seasonal touches through the year — falling leaves in autumn, snow in winter, flowers in spring, and graduation caps in May. They're purely decorative and never in the way. To turn them off, go to Settings → Appearance → Seasonal decorations. They also switch off automatically when reduced motion is on.
