Where do I manage my settings and preferences?
Open the user menu (top-right avatar) and tap Settings. From there you can manage Appearance (dark mode, celebrations, reminders), Language, Accessibility (high contrast, larger text, reduced motion, and a dyslexia-friendly font), Notifications (turn off categories or snooze them until tomorrow, the weekend, or a week), Privacy (hide your profile from roommate search), Safety, Support, and your Account.
Why does Dormly remind me to reply?
If a message or a listing inquiry has been waiting a while, Dormly gives you a gentle nudge so conversations don't go cold. Reminders are deliberately rare — they're capped, spaced days apart, stop after a couple of nudges, and go away as soon as you reply. If you've been away for a while, we hold off instead of piling them up. You can turn reminders off anytime from the menu.
