Navigating Dormly
How do I get back to what I was doing?
When you're signed in, the home page shows a "Continue where you left off" card that takes you back to your last browse (rentals, homes, or roommates) with your filters and scroll position restored, plus how many results were left. It also shows "Recently used" — quick links to the listings, chats, and tools you opened most recently.
What are the suggestions Dormly shows me?
Those small “next step” cards are Dormly's recommendations for you. Dormly looks at where you are in your housing journey — verified yet, roommate profile done, listings saved, household set up, move-in approaching — and gently suggests the single most useful next thing to do, with a clear button to do it. It only ever shows one suggestion at a time so it never nags, and every card has a “Why am I seeing this?” link that explains the reason. You can dismiss a suggestion for the day; if it's still relevant, it'll come back later.
Where is the Help Center?
Dormly's Help Center lives at /help — open it from “Help” in the navigation. It organizes everything Dormly can do into clear categories (Getting Started, Housing, Roommates, Marketplace, Advice Board, Households, Moving, Account & Verification, Privacy & Safety), with a search bar so you can jump straight to an answer. Every article links to related ones, and you can tell us whether it helped. If you'd rather talk to a person, the Contact Support page (Get Help) is one tap away.
