How do I schedule a viewing of a place?
On a rent or buy listing, tap Schedule Viewing to see the available times. Pick one and reserve it — you'll get an instant confirmation, an Add to Calendar file, and a link to message the lister. If there are no times, you'll see an honest 'no times available' message rather than fake availability. The exact address (or the virtual meeting link) is shown once you've reserved.
Can I cancel a viewing I reserved?
Yes. You can cancel any time before the viewing starts — there's no penalty and no no-show tracking. Open the viewing from your confirmation or the conversation and tap Cancel reservation. If the host changes the date, time, or location, your reservation moves to 'needs confirmation' and you'll be asked to confirm the new time or cancel; until you confirm, you're not counted as attending.
How do calendar and reminders work for viewings?
Add to Calendar downloads a standard .ics file you can open in Apple, Google, or any calendar app; it includes the time in UTC and a built-in 1-hour alarm, so your own calendar handles the exact-time reminder. Dormly also shows a best-effort reminder in your notifications when you open the app within about a day of the viewing — it's a helpful nudge, not a guaranteed exact-time alert. There's no Google or Apple account sync in this version.
