Reporting marketplace issues
How do I report a Marketplace item?
On any item, tap Report and choose a reason: Scam, Fake item, Counterfeit, Prohibited item, Misleading description, Incorrect price, Harassment, Inappropriate content, Duplicate listing, or Item already sold. Marketplace reports use Dormly's existing moderation, so the team reviews them the same way as any other report.
Are Marketplace photos checked automatically?
Yes. When you publish, your photos are automatically screened for unsafe content (nudity or sexual content, graphic violence, weapons, and illegal goods). Publishing stays instant — the check runs in the background. If a photo is flagged, the whole item is hidden from browse and sent to the Dormly team for review; you'll still see it in My Items, and a reviewer can release it if it was flagged by mistake. This is in addition to person-reported takedowns, and photos always have their location data (EXIF) stripped on upload for your privacy.
